<g:plusone size="medium" count="1" href="http://www.mlmunderstood.com/uncategorized/featured-company-arbonne/">{lang: 'en-GB'}</g:plusone>

History

Arbonne’s founder, Petter Mørck, started the company some 30 years ago. Born in Norway, he had great interest in Skin Care. At 27 years old, he entered the skin care industry. As with most great things, it starts in the mind of an individual, and often grows beyond what even they thought was possible. With a strong group of leading bio-chemists, biologists and herbalists, they came up with a range of products with only natural products. Coupled with this, was the amazing income opportunity attached to the products. What started out in the USA, now spans numerous countries.

Within the Direct Sales Industry, there are many companies that are what’s termed as “Fly by night!” After 30 years in the Business, Arbonne has very much established itself as one of the leading companies within Direct Sales. There is something to be said about joining a company with such a solid and distinguished history.

The Products

I myself have first hand experience with the companies products. It was in 2007 that I first was introduced to them. A friend of mine in the USA, who incidentally, drove a white mercedes, recommended them to me. Now being someone who has somewhat sensitive skin, we were talking about this. She recommended that I try their Nutrimen Range. To be honest, I was apprehensive at first, as I’m not really one to change brands too often when it comes to skin care. I think many people are similar to myself, in that we want to use what’s familiar, and are generally happy with it. But sometimes in life, someone makes an offer you can’t refuse. She said, “try it for FREE!” Who was I to argue? So I did. And I must say, I was hugely impressed with the products.

You see, there are countless skin care companies out there, but not many that offer completely natural products. This is something that’s becoming an ever increasing trend. Not because it’s fashionable, but because we are now realising that it’s genuinely better for our skin.

Arbonne offers a plethora of products to choose from. Arbonne’s range of Personal Care Products are formulated without;

- Animal products or animal by-products

- Formaldehyde donating preservatives

- Petroleum based ingredients

- Benzene

- Mineral Oil

- Petrolatum

- Phthalates

- Toluene

- PABA

Now whether the above means anything to you or not, let me sum it up for you. Arbonne’s Product Range is NATURAL. Made entirely of products that are found in the natural grown environment. They’re 100% safe to use as they do not contain any chemicals that could be potentially harmful to one’s skin.

For more information, please contact an Arbonne Consultant. I’ve found them to be exceedingly helpful. The Direct Sales Industry, generally tends to attract “nice” people. Arbonne is no different.

The Opportunity

The Direct Sales Industry today is HUGE! Even Wall Street is talking about it. Whether we like it or not, we’re a part of it. We’re forever recommending products and services to friends and family alike. What we LIKE, we recommend. WE advertise for the brands, for FREE! One of the things that I LOVE about Arbonne, is that it’s a GREAT environment for women. Not to say that it’s only for women, there are countless men building a business with Arbonne. Having grown up in a very male dominated household, I saw my mother didn’t have many opportunities to express herself, and be HER. I think any environment that empowers women to be the BEST that they can be, without the old fashioned restrictions posed on them.

What Direct Sales provides people, is an environment to LEARN Entrepreneurship. Something that you can do Part Time alongside your job. The trap that most people fall into, is that they get sucked into their job, and are lead to believe there is nothing they can do about it. What Arbonne offers, is the opportunity to have fun, and build a business out of building relationships, and helping others. Please take the time to watch the video below, and hear from REAL people. And I do mean REAL people. NICE people.

You may have heard the “White Mercedes” in the Video a number of times. More and more Direct Sales Companies are offering cars as incentives for the producers. When was the last time, that your boss said to you, “Because of the work that you do, and the revenue that you bring in, we’re going to pay for your NEW White Mercedes!” It just doesn’t happen.

There is no doubt as to which was the economy is going. It’s not just having an effect on ONE country or a handful, it’s the WORLD. Take control of your future and find a company that you would LOVE to work with on a Part Time Basis. Arbonne is such a company. I have no hesitance in recommending Arbonne as a company to join within the Network Marketing Industry.

When we read things like this, and see Videos like the one above, sometimes, we just think it’s too good to be true. Don’t worry, I’m the same way. We all are to an extent. Should you have any doubt about Arbonne, I would like to leave you with the video below. This is a part of a news reel, and highlights what is happening in the Economy, and how Direct Sales, specifically Arbonne is helping people.

You know, technology has done wonders for the way in which we conduct our business today. It has enabled us to reach people in ways which weren’t possible before. We can do business with people from all corners of the world without even making a phone call or jumping on a plane. Which frankly, I think is AMAZING. The canvass that is has provided us with is pretty phenomenal. However, as with anything, it does have it’s drawbacks.

What are these drawbacks? Well this is a rather complex conversation, but I’ll sum up one of the most important ones. Certainly in my opinion. As technology is progressing, we’re losing the ability to connect with our fellow humans. We live in a culture of being glued to our smartphones. I know I’m guilty of this. Gone are the good old days where we did business with people rather than machines. Now you may ask, “What does this have to do with MLM?” Well Network Marketing is just that, it’s a PEOPLE Driven Business. Whilst you can use tools like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and so on to generate leads, you have to be able to connect with people. Think about how you work as an individual. I don’t mean “work” as in working for a living. I mean, think about how you tick and what makes you tick. We’re all on the most part emotional beings. So you’ve got to learn how to connect with others, and ultimately how to HELP others. I’ve recently started to dedicate more of my time to those that need help in the areas in which I’m talented. I came across this video below earlier today, and I have to say, I LOVED his message.

I would thoroughly recommend you sit down and watch this video. Just think about how you conduct your business, and what space you come from when you talk to people about your Business. I sincerely hope you enjoy this video as much as I did. The gentleman speaking is a Professional in Leadership, and his name is Simon Sinek. Look him up.

I told you it was gonna be GREAT. It’s important that in this technological age, that we don’t lose touch with our human selves. No matter what happens with technology, we’ll still be humans. Technology has evolved drastically over the years, but we as humans, again on the most part, are the same. We love in the same way, we grieve in the same way, and we rejoice in the same way. So go help someone today. Infact, help someone EVERYDAY, and your life will transform.

Today’s message was perhaps a little more touchy feely than usual, but I hope it inspires you in some way, shape or form. Remember to comment below, and Sign Up For Our Updates.

Have you ever been at a point when you just can’t find the motivation? When you KNOW what you have to do, but you just can’t seem to get it done? We’ve all been there. Frankly, I think that feeling never goes away completely. There will always be times in our life when we’ll feel lazy and not be at our most productive. The question is, “What do we do about it?”

This morning, I watched a video that I hadn’t watched in a while. It felt like when you find £20 in your pockets in something you haven’t worn in a while. But in this case, I think I found way more than £20. You see, Art Williams in this video gave me WAY more than finding £20 unexpectedly. It’s an old classic, but never the less, it STILL stands SO true today. Sometimes, you gotta “JUST DO IT!”

<<< VIDEO BLOG ENTRY (Press PLAY)

We’ve all been there before. Either making income claims, or hearing them. There are various schools of thought on whether these should be even mentioned at all. However, much like anything and everything, there are many different ways to do things.

Some people feel that being able to share REAL Income Testimonies with they’re potential team members, they can show them that they too can achieve those results. Now, there are a few things to remember here. It’s important to not mislead people here without giving the whole picture. Whilst there may be someone making $30,000 a MONTH only after 6 months, it’s VERY likely that person is a Network Marketing Professional. Now are there new people that can do this? Absolutely! But it’s the exception, NOT the rule.

Network Marketing, like anything else requires you to be dedicated, work hard and be very diligent. Some companies actually publish an annual Income Disclosure Statement where they lay out what the Reps made in income in the previous year. This is great as it shows transparency, and it shows the percentage of reps at the various different levels.

Remember, most people that you’re speaking to are in fact NEW to the industry, and it’s important that they’re not misled. You may get the sign up, but eventually, you’ll have someone in your team who now has an expectation that was not met. It’s far better to tailor your pitch to show someone what THEY can earn for themselves. Showing someone a $50,000 Monthly Bonus Cheque (Yes, that’s how I spell “CHECK!”), is no use if they want to make an extra $500 a month. Rather introduce them to someone who is making what they’d like to make. Believe me, they’re more likely to believe and be inspired to take action.

The other option, is to not talk about personal income claims at all. Remember, you’ve just showed them the Compensation Plan, they can do the maths for themselves, OR you could ask how much they’d like to make, and then show them HOW they could do that, using the Comp Plan. I’ve always found this way to be more powerful as it shows them what they really need to do, and illustrates a far more realistic picture for them.

Whichever method you use, if you’re going to make Income Claims, be prepared to show evidence if someone asks. Don’t make a claim if you’re not prepared to back it up. If you’re going to do the big talk, then make sure you can verify it. And folks, don’t be afraid to ask someone if they’re making claims. I’ve done this before. Those that have showed me, have come across as far more transparent and honest. Because if you get on stage and you say you just bought a brand new Ferrari, but don’t show it to someone that asks to see it, you’d just look weird. So in the same way, anything worth bragging about, is worth SHOWING! This is certainly a way of weeding out the REAL DEAL and the FAKERS!

Most importantly, don’t be afraid to ask questions, and get them answered to your satisfaction. I often liken joining an MLM Company to getting into a relationship with someone of the opposite sex, or same for that matter. You’re making a decision on what you see and feel. After all, we’d hate to get into a relationship with a liar. So don’t do it in your business life either.

There is enough evidence available out there now to PROVE that Network Marketing WORKS…! So let’s create an honest and open society within our GREAT Industry.

REMEMBER, you can build your business through sharing income claims/stories, or not, but IF you do, don’t be afraid to verify it if someone should ask.

<<< VIDEO BLOG ENTRY (Press PLAY)

Well it had to happen sooner or later. One of the World’s LEADING Financial Papers singing the praises of Direct Selling. Whether you call it MLM, Direct Selling or Network Marketing, and everything in between, it’s essentially one and the same. This feature couldn’t have come at a better time.

When your industry is featured in the Wall Street Journal as the ULTIMATE SOCIAL BUSINESS MODEL, you know you’re onto something.

It’s reading things like this that make me excited about what’s to come in Network Marketing. The last 50 years or so has been about grounding the industry, and creating a NEW career path altogether. As well as establishing it as a bonafide Business Model. I mean if you STILL think it’s a Pyramid Scheme, then I’m afraid even I would be at a loss for something to say. Or perhaps what I would want to say, wouldn’t be my usual well mannered conversation.

What does this mean for the industry? It’s something that not only effects NEW people looking at the industry, and boosting their confidence about the fact that there are very legitimate, honest companies out there. It effects those within the industry. With there being so many people that have been in Network Marketing for sometime now, but perhaps not getting the level of success they’d hoped for, they can see that it is a Business, and a very respected model at that.

Perhaps you’ve had people in your teams who have done it half heartedly, but just need that little extra ounce of credibility. I mean the industry has had some wonderful endorsements from some key modern day figures of our time, but this could tip the scales I think. We’re now going to see a complete shift of how people perceive Network Marketing.

Another dramatic effect this will have on your business is that you’ll be able to talk to people that are in those HIGH PAID Jobs. The ones that perhaps before may have turned their nose up at the idea of running a Home Based Direct Selling Business. We’ve already seen a HUGE influx of Professionals from all sorts of industries come into the Industry. This is a true testament to how powerful an industry it really is.

It may just be time to stop listening to those people around you that THINK they know what Network Marketing is, and try and warn you away from it. Show them the article, it’ll be hilarious to see how they can argue their point now. Anyone that knows me, will know, that I like to have fun with these people.

There are many companies mentioned in the article. Below are just 7 of the TOP Performing Publicly Traded Companies;

- Avon

- Natura

- Herbalife

- Tupperware

- Oriflame

- Nuskin

- Primerica

There are MANY other companies too, but remember, this article can be used regardless of which company you represent. The idea is to show people the INDUSTRY that you’re in.

Ensure you download your copy, and show it to as many people as you can. This is definitely one for the books. Please also share this site and article with your teams by clicking on the share links below, and commenting on it and showing your support for this site. We have some AMAZING things in the pipeline, and are grateful you’ve taken the time to visit and become a part of the community.

<<< VIDEO BLOG ENTRY (Press PLAY)

This is a subject that many people have an opinion on. From people saying, “It’s all about the Comp Plan” to “It’s all about the Product.” You see, one of the KEY things that people get results with in the Industry, is EXCITEMENT. Because we’re all different, excitement is stimulated from different things. Not every single person that joins Network Marketing, joins because of the Income Opportunity. Most people partake on a Part-Time Basis. So with this in mind, let’s just say for example, 80% of your team are less regular, and building their business at a slightly slower pace than the other 20%.

It’s important to remember, that MOST of your Team will have these Part-Timers in there. With this said, MOST people are sponsored into a Network Marketing Company in the WRONG way. They’re promised lots of Success and Money, with very little effort. Now whilst those two are on the cards, they ONLY come with great work and diligence. So with that said, when people discover this fact, or as what happens to some people, deny the fact, they become despondent.

When this happens, the first thing that people tend to do, is to cancel their autoship. This is where the importance of choosing the right product comes in. If people in the company aren’t making money, they then look to the product. If the product isn’t up to par, then it’s inevitable that people will cancel their autoshipment.

There are many companies out there who’s retention rates are very high. One of the things I’ve always said when looking at a company is, to ask yourself whether you’d still be a customer, even if there wasn’t an income opportunity attached.

You see, many so called leaders have a short term view on their business. So when moving from one company to another, they don’t really care about the product. They know they’ll build a team of thousands in a relatively short space of time. But the KEY thing is that their teams would take far longer to build their business to that level, by which time, the leader may have moved to another company. The RULE is definitely, the people that hang around and work hard in their business, and stick around for the long term, build a solid income. It could be said, that the faster the team is built, the faster it shall break.

But going back to the product, if you genuinely LOVE the product, recommending it will be FAR easier than trying to “recruit” someone into your business. Always wanting to use real life examples of this, let’s take my affinity with all things Apple. I recommend Apple products ALL the time. We just came back from a weekend away in Amsterdam, and even there, I found myself recommending various Photo/Video Apps to my friends on the trip. Once at the Hotel, they downloaded the Apps. You see, when you genuinely love something, you’ll feel much more comfortable recommending it. Now this of course, is my belief. Various people will tell you different things. Does this mean the Comp Plan is not important? Not at all. It’s about finding a balance for YOU. After all, it is your business.

So consider this when looking at a company. I once heard someone say, “I’m going to work with this company for NOW.” Upon hearing that, I felt that this particular person didn’t have any intention of being with the said company for a long period of time, and that it was only their interim company so that they can still make money in the meantime, till they find a long term company. I would rather not work an MLM Business, than be in one just for the short term. But again, that’s my opinion.

In a nutshell, if your company has a GREAT product, and it’s a product that you’d use regardless of there being an income opportunity, I think you’re on the right track. Because your excitement will come from within, and that’s what people buy. Have you found, it’s SO much easier to sell things that you absolutely LOVE. Even those amongst us that are not sales people, regularly sell things that we LOVE.

With that said, there are TONS and TONS of companies out there, so get out there, and Build your MLM Machine.

And yet ANOTHER Major Mainstream Company modelling themselves on Network Marketing. Folks, there’s no denying it now. Network Marketing continues to grow and flourish. More and more conventional businesses are starting to use the concept of Network Marketing to gain customers. Acquiring customers through Network/Referral Marketing is FAR more cost effective than through the conventional means of advertising. This is why Network Marketing Companies use this model, whereas conventional companies pay out fortunes for advertising, in the hope of attracting customers. The Video Commercial below illustrates how they’re encouraging their own customers to acquire customers. But will they PAY them? NO WAY…! Network Marketing is the SAME exact model, but instead, they pay their Reps a commission for acquiring the customers.

So there you have it. Network Marketing is certainly a BETTER way. And more and more Conventional Corporations are embracing this too. Please leave your comments at the bottom of this page using the Facebook Comments System.

When you think MLM, you wouldn’t immediately think of Poland. But you’d be wrong to dismiss them as a Super Power in the MLM World. Poland is taking the Network Marketing World by storm. Infact I personally have friends from Poland, and they tell some GREAT stories of Success that people are having in Poland.
Ok, so we’ve all been there. Someone LOVES the sound of our Business, and then they “Google it!” Now, doing research on a company is quite prudent. However, you have to know what is good information, and what is not. In the video below, you’ll see in greater detail what I mean. But let’s face it, most of the people that write negativity on the internet about MLM and Network Marketing Companies, are simply reps that signed up, did nothing or very little, found that they weren’t making $5 BILLION dollars a day, and quit.

There isn’t a Business Model out there, that rewards or promotes laziness. Simply, to make money in ANY pursuit, you HAVE to put in time and effort. It’s ashame that we live in a “blame” culture.

You see, in Business, you have to learn how to make GOOD decisions. Taking the advice from someone that’s quit/failed, is probably not the best way to get things done. Rather take advice from people who are and have been successful. This is a rather controversial topic, as you’ll find a variety of things online about various companies and the Network Marketing Industry as a whole. The reason that you don’t find too much positive information, is that the people who are excelling in their businesses, are too busy being productive. The ones who would rather whine and winge, are on forums, having a pity party. Enjoy the video below, and please feel free to comment below and let us know what you think about this subject.

I think you’ll agree with me when I say, making decisions based on the FACTS, rather than the opinions of people that have been unsuccessful is a far better strategy.
